Management Assistance Program
The Management Assistance Program is a community resource of experienced
professionals who provide affordable consulting, mentoring, and education
services that help organizations and individuals improve their performance.
Consulting
services are provided by an impressive cadre of volunteers with proven, reality
based, problem solving skills. These
dedicated individuals are committed to helping nonprofits and businesses address
their most critical management issues.
The
organizations assisted by the Management Assistance Program are as
varied and diverse as our community and span a broad spectrum of need. They include organizations that are working to enhance the lives of
youth, eradicate poverty and homelessness, make the arts accessible, provide
social services, improve education, provide health care, and more.
The Management Assistance Program
is committed to ensuring that nonprofits in
Central Indiana
have well performing
boards, quality strategic plans, effective program delivery, competent,
well-qualified staff, and all the other elements that are critical to nonprofit
excellence. Additionally, MAP works
with businesses to help them address areas of need so they can perform more
effectively and efficiently. Services are customized and delivered on-site,
typically by a team of especially-selected consultants.
Developed methodologies and tools address organizational and management
effectiveness. The
consulting process employs a consistent approach which is tailored to meet the
individualized needs of the client. These
services cover, but are not limited to a broad range of topics, including strategic
planning, board development, executive mentoring,
financial management, organizational and management consulting, and business
planning.
